Corporate Development & Economic Development Support
David has spent years as Director of Corporate Development for Dakwakada Capital, the private equity and economic development office of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations, leading the acquisition, integration, and oversight of a portfolio of operating companies on the Nation’s behalf. That work has spanned M&A due diligence and financing, board and Chief and Council reporting, quarterly and annual financial reporting, and feasibility studies for new economic development opportunities – including a tourism venture aimed at ultra-high-net-worth travelers. Finaccity brings that same governance, reporting, and deal experience to other First Nations and their development corporations.
